We have some shocking news. You may recall a little while ago that we posted a notice regarding sending in Alice's DNA.
We now know. Would you like to guess again?
The DNA testing informed us of FOUR breeds that make up our Alice.

Well, it's possible that both "Mutt" and "multi-mix" are correct in some sense. But none of the other ones are on the right track.

To clarify, not just are all the guesses wrong, not a single one of the individual breeds mentioned in any guess showed up on Alice's report.
ReplyDeleteAlso, more hints: According to the report, Alice has one pure-bred grandparent on both sides. It's the same breed, and she's from Mississippi, so it's possible she really only has 3 grandparents.
One of her great-grandparents is "Mixed Breed", i.e. they can't really tell. They do give a list of four breeds that may be in there somewhere.
So, one fairly dominant breed, three others, then four more possibilities in that mixed breed great-grandparent. Not a single one of these eight breeds is listed in any the guesses above or on the original form. If you guess again, concentrate on the "other" option!
