Introducing....Our New Chimney!
Wow, these guys work fast! We have a new chimney. And it's quite lovely, if we do say so ourselves. It snowed a bit last night, and some more this morning, but it got to be about 40 degrees out, so everything melted. So the team showed up around 10 am, and by 2 this afternoon, we got to meet our new chimney! Check out the adorable squirrel home we have perched up there!

Congrats on the new chimney! May it give you many warm, squirrel-free winters!
I have a feeling that as the semester gets into full swing and the grading starts to build up, the frequency of posting on blogs will actually increase. Contrary to logic, I think there is a direct relationship between the amount of real work that needs to be completed and the frequency of posting on blogs. Given that statement, it's probably accurate to say that for every posting above three I make a week, you can rest assured that there is at least one week's worth of ungraded labs sitting on my desk.
ReplyDeleteIan's iron grip over "Casa de Trebajo" now also excludes me from posting on his blog, too. The only thing I can do is comment as well. Just like the Ring of Power and Golem, I'm afraid that Casa de Trebajo may have also consumed Ian, and maybe he has receded into the cyberspace equivalent of the Misty Mountains. Or, maybe I'm a complete dork for making comparisons between someone's blogging habits and the Lord of the Rings...so sad...
Maybe we should start a new joint blog, about how Ian used to blog?
Rex, you've stumbled upon the theory of structured procrastination, developed by master procrastinator and eminent philosopher, John Perry.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a good thing the construction team still came and worked on your chimney despite the snow you had! I have to applaud them for being able to finish in 4 hours, especially considering the weather. The chimney looks great!
